I’m so happy you’re here.

I’m Courtney — a single mama of two and the heart behind Cub & Kin Co. This little shop of mine was born from a mix of necessity, passion, and a whole lot of hard work. Like so many moms, I wanted to be present for my kids. They were spending 8+ hours in daycare, and I'd see them all of 2 hours in the afternoon before bedtime. My dream was to keep them home and soak in the early years, while also finding a way to provide for our family.

I’ve always had a passion for minimalist, neutral children’s clothing. I’d scroll for hours looking for simple, soft, well-made little boy clothing that didn’t scream with characters or loud patterns — just thoughtful designs made with quality materials. When I couldn’t find enough of what I loved, I decided to build it myself.

Cub & Kin Co. is more than a boutique — it’s my dream coming to life. Most every piece we supply is made from either organic cotton or chemical-free bamboo, because our little ones deserve the softest, safest materials. And because life with kids is already chaotic enough, I’ve made it a priority to keep everything simple, versatile, and easy.

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing more of my journey — both as a mom and as a small business owner — along with hopefully a little inspiration along the way.
